[link] deviantArt has succumbed to transphobia and removed the 'unspecified' option for gender (which they are changing to "sex" in an attempt to classify everyone by what's between their legs, which really isn't any of their business and has nothing to do with how one defines themselves in terms of sex and gender).  I'm freaking pissed now, and seriously tempted to delete my dA account, except for the sole fact that it's very useful for keeping track of art updates by many artists I enjoy.  Dammit, dammit, dammit.

Suffice it to say that I will no longer be actively using deviantArt to post any of my work, as the atmosphere has become distinctly unwelcoming.
